I am taking students and have openings on all of our projects

Mentoring approach will be based on the individual needs of each mentee. We are a small lab and meet weekly as a group. All trainees also meet regularly with Dr. Umen one-on-one to discuss work progress and to help guide professional development. Projects are developed in conjunction with Dr. Umen, and all lab members are encouraged to help define and take ownership of their work.
